Pastry Chef

 

My name is Leigh Webster, and I am a graduate from the baking and pastry arts program at The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York.

I am very passionate about dessert, and I feel that it is just as important as any other part of a meal. Well, ok, I think dessert is the MOST important part of a meal, but I suppose I am a little biased :) I believe that taste and looks go hand-in-hand - it has to look good for people to want to eat it, and it has to taste good for people to want to eat it again. Therefore, I find myself to be very detail-oriented and a bit of a perfectionist at times, all to the benefit of the customer, of course!

Some of my work experience includes an 18-week externship which I completed at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, working both in the main bakery and rotating through the restaurants within the hotel. After graduating from the CIA I moved to Australia where I worked as a baker/decorator at the Greensborough Cake Decorating Center.

I am now back where I grew up, in Chino Hills, CA and dedicated to designing, baking and decorating the cake of your dreams for your special event!
